I played the original Hungry Knight of Team Cherry before trying this version, and unfortunately I felt that a large part of what made the prototype is lost here. The original design, although simple, had rhythm, intention and logic in each mechanics: the enemies released resources, the patterns were clear, and everything transmitted an emergency feeling that pushed you to act.
In this version, many elements do not function as they should: enemies sometimes disappear, do not release anything, the movement feels inconsistent, and some basic mechanics do not respond correctly. I appreciate the effort to pay tribute, but if you are going to reimagine something so iconic, it is worth polishing it well before publishing it.
I say it with respect, because I know what it costs to create something from scratch. I only think Hungry Knight deserved a stronger execution.

Jugué el Hungry Knight original de Team Cherry antes de probar esta versión, y lamentablemente sentí que aquí se pierde gran parte de lo que hacía especial al prototipo. El diseño original, aunque simple, tenía ritmo, intención y lógica en cada mecánica: los enemigos soltaban recursos, los patrones eran claros, y todo transmitía una sensación de urgencia que te empujaba a actuar.
En esta versión, muchos elementos no funcionan como deberían: los enemigos a veces desaparecen, no sueltan nada, el movimiento se siente inconsistente, y algunas mecánicas básicas no responden correctamente. Aprecio el esfuerzo de rendir homenaje, pero si se va a reimaginar algo tan icónico, vale la pena pulirlo bien antes de publicarlo.
Lo digo con respeto, porque sé lo que cuesta crear algo desde cero. Solo creo que Hungry Knight merecía una ejecución más sólida.
